...none of my professors have taken the time to notice my knee high rainbow stripped socks, but my gynecologist loves them, she says they brighten her day!!
The mental image accompanying the news that your socks brighten your gyn's day is . . . well . . . best saved until after the first coffee, I think. Just thinking of the best posititon for her to view your rainbowed splendour, doncha know!
Too bad your profs are too stuffy to notice . . . but then again, probably good that you're not displaying them in the same fashion that you do to your doc!
your imaginings are quite correct... exactly at the point my gyn's commented on the happiness of my brightly coloured socks (I think my gyn is pretty cool) Perhaps the socks can only be appreciated properly when they are the only thing I am wearing??? I shall have to ask Chris...
