Current Random Highlights of My Life (both good and sad)
- broke the little nub button on my lap-top and have been forced to engage my hand eye cooridination [sic, haha to bad] learning skills and employ the highly erractic "touch pad"
- I am still terribly in love with my rambow stripped knee high socks that I bought over a month ago...it's the little things.
- I continue to hold the strong beliefe that people who go to the [bathroom, coffee shop, whatever] and leave the lap-top in the [library, lecture hall, random bench] and sitting in plain view deserve to have it stolen EVERY SINGLE TIME!! Take the computer to have a pee with you, trust me it will be happier.
- spent large amounts of time and money to go over to Vancouver to a much anticipated concert only to walk up to the door of the venue and read with horor that said concert had been cancelled due to illness; rest of night was spent in abject disapointment watching CSI in a (more than we can afford if there is no damn concert) hotel room
- we'll end on a good note and relate that we only have two weeks of school left and then we get a whole fracking month off (with rent paid and everything)

Of course, the immediate question raised is . . . did anyone you know have their laptop stolen whilst visiting the loo? Are you simply relating a hypothetical incident, or what??? Rather a suspicious post, if you ask me. Now, if said laptop had been left unattended in an airport, it would probably have been blown up, in case it contained explosives . . . and if it had been left pretty much anywhere in Newfoundland, it would have been still there, waiting patiently for its owner. Newfoundland seems to be only place I have visited where no one locks their doors. Ever. Even when they're not home. Most impressive. Fablous scenery too.
I am delighted to learn that your cleverness is being excercised at school. A most worthy venue. What are you learning, exactly? And do your professors appreciate your rainbow socks as much as you do? One would hope so, and also hope that extra marks were offered based solely on your satorial splendour.
And what are you all doing with this wonderful and entire month off? And how did the visit from the . . . ahem . . . relatives go???
Did I mention we went to Newfoundland? Probably we should call one another.
much love
