Things I have heard children say #2
I give underducks. I gave fantastic underducks. Ones from the back (which are higher of course) and ones from the front. The thing that makes my underducks extra-special are the faces I make while giving them. Do you want a scary face (scariest ever perhaps)? do you want a funny face? or maybe a a crazed zombie pirate face would do you today. I also usually make some kind of sound at the same time, a scream, or mad giggle.
One day we were all going to the park. With chanting cries of "UNDERDUCKIES, UNDERDUCKIES, UNDERDUCKIES" preceding me to the swings. I went to give the first child an underduck and this is the conversation that proceeded...
child: Can I have an underduck?
me: Of course.
child: With the bonus!!
me: Bonus? what's that?
child: A scary face bonus!!!
me: You call my faces the bonus?
child: YEAH YEAH!! BONUS!! (other children join the cry of bonus)
me: OK!!
So now I give underducks with the option of a bonus (some children don't like my scary face bonuses and so opt out of the bonuses). The kids get quite inventive with what kinds of bonuses they want (I always ask of course). My favorite so far was an utterance from the scissor kid. I asked him what kind of bonus he wanted. He took a long moment to think very hard and then said "Punk!! I want a punk face bonus"

But WHERE is the photo of the Punk Face Bonus????????? Or the Scary Face Bonus?????? How are we, out here in vaccuum land, supposed to comprehend the magnificence of these requests without illustrative photos?????
Take them!!! Take them now!!!!!! We've seen the photo of the rainbow socks, and it was lovely, but it is sooo yesterday, and today we want THE PUNK FACE!!!!!!
